Fahrenheit’s Live Music Night for Original Singers & Bands
Strangers On A Train Wednesday night showcase brings the best original live entertainment featuring bands and singers from today’s music scene.
We frequently have top signed and unsigned acts performing at our nights. Our musicians are mostly drawn from the local and London music scene, however in 2007 we welcomed our first international touring artist and SOAT is now fast becoming a regular live music venue for European bands on tour in the UK.
We have also played host to many album release events and set locations for our upcoming artists music videos.
Our nights run on every Wednesday, entry to the venue is free and we normally present up to 3 different artists, to get the best seats in the house we recommend coming to Fahrenheit 55 for around 8pm.
Genres and Musical Styles
At Strangers on a Train, we pride ourselves in an eclectic taste. So you can expect to see music from almost every genre performed at a SOAT live gig at one time or another. From flamenco to rock, from folk to blues. More live music info on our upcoming artists and bands can be viewed online at:

The Host
Strangers on a Train is presented by live music host Byron Johnston. Byron starts each night with an opening set, playing his unique blend of flamenco fusion and tracks from his recent album Oceano before welcoming on the guest support artist followed by the headline act.
If you are an artist/band and would like to play at SOAT
At Strangers On A Train we welcome bands and songwriters from all different genres. We have slots available for artists who are just starting out in the live music scene and are new to gigging as well as paid headline slots for more established bands and soloists.
Before contacting us for a headline slot we recommend that you have an active myspace page with a recorded EP or album as well as a good fanbase and 1 hours worth of material.
For a support slot we recommend that you have a myspace page with at least one song online plus thirty minutes of material that you can play live.
